Artifact Description:
Staff Interview Schedule: My schedule (those marked in red) signifies the number of meetings I participated in where I consulted, interviewed and partnered with staff members and College Persistence Team members, such as our Development Manager, Audra and Kayle, CAN's Operations Manager. I interviewed all staff members on the leadership team of College Access Now to gain insight on their role in CAN and, professional journey and style. My schedule also shows my weekly meetings with the College Persistence Team, where I consult other College Persistence Coaches and our supervisor about upcoming projects and current caseload statuses. Through out each meeting, I engage in note taking and afterwards self-reflect by documenting in my CAN journal.
Artifact Relevance:
The photo of my calendar represents my commitment to career-long learning through participating in team meetings, 1:1 supervision meetings with my Practicum Instructor and interviews with professional staff. To demonstrate professional demeanor and an interest in learning, and consulting others, I would attend all my meetings prepared with questions regarding ethics, professionalism style and role within the organization.Through meeting with multiple staff members I have consistently engaged in consultation, and gained individual perspectives from each person I interviewed. Overall, these meetings have lend to a very thorough understanding of CAN as an organization, and how they operate.
