Artifact Description:
For College Access Now, I researched motivational factors on why college students persistence to graduation. I summarized my findings in a paper.
Artifact Relevance:
Through this research paper, I was able to use my knowledge on our student population to find articles that were relevant and to keep in mind what needed to be adjusted in my recommendations to meet the needs of our specific population. The articles I read and cited were qualitative and quantitative research evidence based articles. Based on the literature, I provided suggestions that could be applied to CAN's organizational practices and services to further address the ways we could support our students in the College Persistence program.
